We are looking for new nursing assistants/care assistants to Åkerbohemmet in Löttorp

Åkerbohemmet is a special accommodation for care and support located in Löttorp on northern Öland.

At Åkerbohemmet, there are 32 places. Four units with space for eight people, of which three units are residences for people with dementia.

The focus is on person-centered care and support where the elderly, relatives, and close ones should feel at home in a welcoming environment, experiencing community and participation.

Our goal is to create security, well-being, and trust by being a support in everyday life. We want the individual to receive good care based on needs and personal wishes surrounded by competent staff.

In 2026, a working time reduction project is underway at Åkerbohemmet, which means you work 90% of full-time but receive 100% salary. The project aims for a better work environment and increased recovery through a more sustainable working time.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Care and support work in special accommodation. The tasks also include being a permanent care contact, establishing and following up on implementation plans, and documenting in the Life Care journal system, among other things.

You work in accordance with the Social Services Act (SoL) but also perform health and medical care tasks (HSL assignments) after delegation from licensed personnel.

A good approach and attitude are an important part of the work.

We continuously work with quality improvement.

Our guiding principles are security, respect, and meaningfulness. Working hours are distributed over days, evenings, and weekends, and you have the opportunity to propose your own schedule within given frameworks.

Opportunities for weekend work are available.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant/care assistant or has equivalent education and has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has a genuine interest in working with people and can meet each individual based on their individual needs and wishes.
  • has a rehabilitative approach
  • takes responsibility for their tasks and takes initiative
  • has necessary computer skills, preferably in Life Care

Experience in dementia care, BPSD, and response plans is meritorious.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
